What is a Trustee?

A trustee is a person or a financial institution which protects or manages real-estate given by others to earn profits for them. For example the trustee might be in control of your trust account or retirement fund and he will be managing the account for the beneficiary's interest. It's accepted for the trustee to collect fees for his services and this will be a percentage of the total amount. Also the trustee can be a creditor who manages loans an he makes sure the the borrower follows through the payment plans.
