Frozen account

What is a Frozen account?

When your bank account has been frozen it means that you can’t make any more withdrawals or to charge any purchases to it. Usually when accounts are frozen then you owe somebody money. A creditor through a court order can ask for this process to happen until you settle your debt. And a lender can ask legally for the double amount what you own. Whenever a bank freezes an account you receive a notice and on the notice you can talk with a lawyer if there’s no notice and the account is frozen then you should call the bank. Also the bank automatically freezes accounts when the holder dies, and it keeps it frozen until a legal beneficiary is appointed or found.
