What is a CEO?

CEO stands for Chief Executive Officer. CEO's have numerous names like president or chairman of the board or executive managing director. Usually CEO's handle high level decisions and manage big strategies in a corporation. They make corporate decisions and they act as a bridge between board directors and corporate operations and they occasionally might have a position on the board.

CEO's task vary from the size of the organization, if the firm is small then he might be involved in low level working like hiring people and in other cases he works to increase the overall growth of the company.
