What is a Beneficiary?

A beneficiary is a person or an organization who receives some type of possessions or assets in the future. When a person makes a will he usually names a beneficiary who will gain for example the house or a sum of money after his death. This term is also used when somebody receives the life insurance policy benefits. Beneficiaries are children, spouses, anybody in the immediate family and even it can be charity organizations.
